How much do you charge?
I have a selection of bridal hair packages to suit yours and your bridal party's needs. You can view these on my Bridal Packages & Prices page here.
Do you require a booking deposit to secure my wedding date?
A 30% Non-refundable deposit is required upon booking with me. This ensures your wedding date is fully secure with me and will be deducted from your final amount payable.
How many members of the bridal party can you do?
This all depends on what time your ceremony is and how much time you have allocated to get ready on the morning of your wedding. On my own I can comfortably style up to 6 party members (allowing 5 hours to get ready). If you have more than 6 party members needing to get ready please get in touch with me as I have a couple trusted hairstylists who I may be able to bring to assist on the morning.
My morning timelines are carefully planned out to ensure the wedding morning runs smoothly. Each of my brides timelines are customised to suit their needs.
Do you have a minimum booking requirment?
I take a minimum booking requirement of £270. This equates to 1 bride and 3x bridal party members. (This does not include trials or travel costs).
Please fill out my enquiry form with all of your wedding day details for your personalised quotation.
The trial
Do I need a trial?
All hair trials are booked separately and paid upon the date of your trial. In my opinion, trials are fundamental to a brides hair journey. I want to make sure that you feel your most beautiful self on your big day, whilst feeling comfortable in the look you have chosen. Sometimes a bride may show me an inspiration photo of something they really love, but when recreated on them, decide that the look is not right for them. A trial allows us to have that time to have an in depth discussion and make any tweaks to your chosen style to ensure that you're happy. I make a record of all products I use from the trial and the technique that is best suited for your hair type & texture so that the process can be quicker on the wedding day. I understand that stress and nerves can be high on the wedding morning, so I want you to be able to trust that you are in safe hands and know that you will look beautiful and feel confident, as we have had that trial run together already.
What should I expect from the trial?
We will have had a brief consultation prior to the trial where i will have spoken to you about any ideas you may have had for your wedding hair. We will have also spoken about your current hair length/thickness to ensure the style you desire is achievable and if there is anything needed in order to achieve it (e.g. hair extensions, hair cut etc). At the trial I will use this information, along with any further input from you, to create the hairstyle you will wear on your wedding day. We can make tweaks to your chosen style to suit your needs or even try two styles if you like. I make notes of the products/techniques I use and any other information I may need for your wedding day. This makes the styling process quicker on the day and you can relax on your wedding morning knowing you will look beautiful and feel confident in your look. A trial is also great for me to give you any tips/tricks for preparing your hair for the big day, and advise you if you need to order anything (such as hair extensions or hair accessories and where is best to purchase from).
When and where will my trial take place?
We will arrange and book your hair trial in once your wedding date is secured with me. I think it is important to not have your trial too far away from the wedding date as your taste may change and you may look completely different a few months down the line (e.g. change of hair colour). Having your trial 2-3 months before your wedding date is the best way to have a true reflection of how your hair will look on your wedding day, whilst allowing enough time to order anything you may need (e.g. hair extensions or hair accessories).
As a mobile stylist I am not based in a salon or studio. Therefore, I do trials at my bride's houses or at another location of their choice (a travel fee may apply). This is always nice for my brides as they usually feel most comfortable and relaxed in their home and is more flexible for them as they don't have to leave their house or factor in travel for themselves.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
For your trial you should bring any hair accessories you will be wearing and/or your veil. I always think it's nice to bring any jewellery you have chosen for the day as well, so that you can see the whole look come together. I recommend wearing a white top with a similar neckline to your wedding dress. This again will help you visualise the complete look and how your chosen hairstyle will look with your dresses neckline. If we have spoken prior about wearing hair extensions, please also bring these with you. I do have a selection of hair accessories in my kit to try on, for any of my brides who do not know what accessory to wear. Trying different accessories and being able to see how they look with your hairstyle can help with your decision.
Do members of the bridal party need a trial too?
Bridal party trials are not essential but they can be particularly helpful for those that have never had their hair done before or are unsure on the look they are wanting on the day. The wedding morning will go by quickly, so there won't be time to experiment with different hairstyles or have an in-depth consultation. By having a trial they will be able to experiment and have that thorough consultation. This can help to minimalise stress on the morning of the wedding as, if everyone knows how it looks on them, they can all relax knowing they will feel confident on how their style looks. However, rest assured I always have a brief discussion about their inspiration photo before styling to have an understanding on what they want (e.g. parting, volume, texture etc). Some of my brides will bring along their mum or Maid of honour and have their trials together. Once they've had their hair done they will go out afterward and make the most out of the experience.
The wedding day
What should I expect on the wedding morning?
I want to make your wedding morning feel as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. To help keep things organised, I will provide you with a rough timeline of the morning (start to finish times) prior to the wedding day, so the bridal party can be informed of the schedule and everyone knows when they are needed in my chair. It doesn't take me long to set up my kit, so I will arrive 15 minutes before-hand to make sure we start on time.
I understand how hectic the wedding morning can be, so I am more than happy to help out where I am needed- whether that be making a drink or helping you get into your wedding dress. I will stay for any last minute touch ups and to help you put any hair pieces/veil in, so that you look fresh and beautiful to walk down that aisle.
How long should I allow for hair?
Below are rough times that I allow for hair services on the wedding morning. (These may vary depending on length/thickness of the hair and chosen style):
• Bride hair: 1hour-1hour, 15 minutes
• Bridal party hair: 45-50 minutes
I usually recommend all hair to be done 1 hour before the ceremony starts, this allows time for pictures, getting into dresses, fitting the veil and any last minute touch ups so that everyone is fresh and ready for the ceremony.
Is there anything you need from the bride?
please ensure that everyone is on time on the wedding morning. Wedding mornings can be fast paced and we rely on the morning timeline to keep everything organised and running smoothly. If bridal party members are arriving separately, please ensure they are there at least 15 minutes before their allotted time slot. Please try to keep your getting ready space as tidy as possible, not only does it help me but it also helps you and the bridal party stay organised throughout the morning. It is also better for photos and your photographer will appreciate this and thank you in advance!
